I got this sweet pair of Dr. Scholls shoes at Value Village when I was home in Washington last weekend. I have been looking for a pair of shoes like this for quite awhile now. My sister was kind of enough to remind me that my grandma had a pair of shoes just like this. Little did she know that hearing that just made me like them more.

New Old Dress
I went through a period in my high school days where I would wear only vintage/used clothes. I am talking everything; shirt, pants, shoes, purse, jacket.... I grew up in a small town with amazing thrift stores and thrifting was a lifestyle.
Over the years, my style has evolved and I hardly wear any vintage clothes these days. There are not very many good thrift stores in Los Angeles that I have found either. Lately, I have been wanting to incorporate some vintage items back into my wardrobe.
I bought this dress today at Wasteland today and I love it. After wearing it out tonight to the movies, I think I may want to shorten the hemline.

Estate Sale
Isaac and I have not been going to very many estate sales lately because we have been so busy, but we went to one last weekend and got the items below for a total of $9.00.
That fabric/canvas picture is actually amazing and we only paid a buck for it. Unfortunately the fabric is a little stained so Isaac hung the picture in his studio and since it is up so high you can't really see the discoloration.
I am not even sure if I want this style of lamp anymore but it was only $5.00 so I couldn't pass it up.
Two sweet beaded necklaces.
