Perfume

The other day I went to Sephora to get a new perfume. I thought I was going to get something kind of fancy and classy like Chloe (inspired by Kate Miss) However I ended up getting something that smells very different from the type of perfume I normally wear.

I bought Escada Taj Sunset because it reminded me of vacation and I couldn't not buy it! It is very sweet and girly. It is described as being beach-inspired with coconut cream, musky notes, sandal wood, sweet primrose, raspberry, mango and blood orange. It is yummy and makes me feel very happy.  Since I don't have any beach vacations planned, this perfume will have to do for now.

If there is one thing that I love, it is perfume. I can't remember when I started wearing perfume but I know I was young. I remember sneaking into my sister's rooms and sneaking spritzes of theirs (sorry Steph and Anna). The funny thing about it all is that I have a terrible sense of smell! Maybe that is why I like perfume, because it can be so strong and distinct and I can actually SMELL IT. I have never been loyal to any particular perfume. I will find a scent, become obsessed with it, use the entire bottle and then move on to the next one. I have never bought a second bottle of the same kind of perfume. Below are some of the perfumes I am currently using.

From Left to Right:
Prada: This is my second small bottle of this perfume, I love it and it makes me feel fancy.
Le Labo created a line of perfumes of Anthropologie and I got this for Christmas. I get so many compliments on it! It is described as.....It is very "hippy dippy" smelling and it is very different than most perfumes I am drawn to.
Dolce & Gabanna "The One" as a Christmas gift from my in laws this year. I haven't been wearing it as much as the weather has gotten warmer, but I really loved it in the winter.
Toyko Milk in "Lotus Milk" I just got this given to me as gift and it has been the one I have worn most in the last few weeks.
Oiseau- I got a mini bottle of this scent and three others when I lived in Seattle. I haven't been wearing it lately but when I was going through some of my older perfumes, I remembered why I love it. It also reminds me of my time in Seattle.
Juicy Coutoure: This is another one that is pretty girly and sweet, and really just makes me feel fancy! I think my sister Anna wears this one too and that is where I discovered it.

Other favorite perfumes I have worn and used up are:

When I was at Anthropologie the other day I smelled this perfume and I am still thinking about it....
