We had a true "staycation" this weekend. Some of our friends are out of the country for a few weeks so they gave us a key to their home and they said we were welcome to use their pool. We swam all day on Saturday, and it was heavenly. We made guacamole and drank beers and it was so fun we decided to do the same thing the next day, and then again the next day. I basically laid in the sun, ate food and swam for the last 3 days. We did manage to run an errand for the apartment by getting a big cactus (not pictured) for our living room. We went to a really interesting cactus farm deep in the valley. It was the type of place that we refer to as a "Valley Treasure". We ended the long weekend by watching the fireworks in our neighborhood and then getting cheeseburgers.
