I have had acne since I was about 12 years old so about 7 months ago I went to see a dermatologist. I have been followingthe regimen she put me on since then and my skin is dramatically different, although still not perfect. One of the main things that I learned is that less is more when it comes to skin care. I used to layer my face with all sorts of really expensive products but I learned you really don't need to do that. You just need to be consistent.
*In the morning I actually use a prescription topical cream called Aczone and the evening I use a prescription Retin A called Tazorac that works miracles. In the evening I use Neutrogena Clear Pore Mask/Cleanser but I couldn't find an image for that product. Basically you want something with a high percentage of benzoyl peroxide.
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics cream skincare, $46
I have been using this eye cream for over a year and
I just love it.
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics face moisturizer, £32
This isn't oil free like my evening moisturizer because
in the morning my face is quite dry from the Retin A,
plus it has SPF)
Mario Badescu Skin Care face moisturizer, $18
Simple and clean.
Cetaphil face cleanser, $2.40
I need something gentle in the morning, I usually
get Target's Up & Up brand.
Neutrogena face cleanser, $6.99
Who knew something so inexpensive could work
so well, plus it lasts forever
Mario Badescu Skin Care makeup remover, $6
Gentle eye makeup remover.
Philosophy beauty product, $45
I have never used this but it seems like it might be
good if you don't have a prescription for Retin A.
