Republic of Pie

Isaac and I were driving to lunch yesterday when we saw a new coffee and pie shop! I made us go later in the afternoon and we were not disappointed. This place was the real deal. They get their beans from Handsome Roasters and the coffee was top notch. You can see them baking their delicious sweet and savory pies in the kitchen behind a glass window. We had the lemon cream pie and two soy lattes, but I can't wait to try the Mac and Cheese pot pie or Shepard's Pie next time I want something savory.

*Full Disclosure: After these photos were taken, I choked on a piece of pie and Isaac almost had to do the Heimlich maneuver and the experience ending with me sweating, shaking and crying. Classic Sophie :)
