Spring Has Sprung!

1. The weather in LA has been all over the place so a scarf is necessary. 

2. Lovely chambray dress. 

3. I got these sunglasses a few weeks ago and I love them!

4. I have been coveting this bag ever since I saw a girl with it at my yoga studio. 

5. I am still on the lookout for the perfect summer sandal. 

6. Whether it is spring or winter, I am always a fan of a gold mens watch. I always have some sort of lip tint on and  although I haven't had a manicure in months, I think this color would be perfect for spring.

Swimsuit!

I took an unexpected trip to Palm Springs last week for a night, which of course means that I had to go out a buy a swimsuit right? Well, I have really been wanting a two-piece but I am very picky about bottoms, so I was super excited when I found this one at The Gap, plus it was on sale! I will post pictures from our little trip soon.

Birthday Present!

I picked this dress up at Urban Outfitters with some of my "Birthday Money" (Yes, I am 27 and I still call it my "Birthday Money"). I wanted this dress when it was full price but I got it for 50% off! I love it when that happens.

I really have been wanting to find a cool new pair of denim cutoff shorts....

Outfit

I wore the Bass shoes that I previously posted about to see one of Isaac's band perform last week. They were the perfect "show shoe" because they were comfortable but not too casual. I also wore a new dress that I got from Urban Outfitters last week.

You can barely see them since I was wearing black tights, so you will just have to trust me that they were very cute. 

I wore my hair in a bun which is extremely rare for me, the only time my hair is up is when I wash my face and work out. 

Shopping

I have spoiled myself in the shoe department over the last two weeks. I have been trying to streamline my closet and one of my goals has been to focus more on quality than quantity when it comes to clothes and shoes. I have a tendency to be cheap when buying most things, clothing and shoes included. I have been trying to change that about myself, although I still love a bargain.

I bought these Bass Oxfords by Rachel Antonoff from Driftwood in Silverlake last weekend. I haven't even worn them yet! I feel like I need some time to figure out what will look best with them. I am thinking dresses and skirts with colored tights!

Yesterday I got these bootie peep-toe wedge's from Mohawk General Store in Silverlake. They are made by a company called Marais USA, which is ironic because the shoes were made in China....Oh well, I love them and I wore them to work today!
