Palm Springs in July

These are some of the Palm Springs pictures I said I would post last month.....

I went to Palm Springs (again) with my friends who live in Seattle and to celebrate my friend's birthday. The Ace Hotel hosts a "Taco Party" that you can have catered to your room or a banquet room and it has become a little tradition of ours.

Do you know how hot it is in Palm Springs in July? Really stinking hot. It hovered around 112 degrees while we were there. I made sure that we slathered ourselves in sunscreen and we pulled a sun screen to the edge of the pool so we could be in the pool and the shade at the same time. I also kept my day drinking to a minimum, which helps.

Oh, and we brought a piñata.
